Happy Monday y’all! I’ve disappeared for weeks and I’m sorry for that school really has me occupied full time. This is going to be a shorter blog post too but it’s about how I escape when everything around me is spiraling. So this weekend I had the time and amazing opportunity to go to the Afton apple orchards and it was honestly a breath of fresh air. It felt amazing just to be detached from all my school work and school environment. We were in the middle of nowhere and I absolutely loved it! It reminded me so much of Kenya and made me homesick but I still had so much fun and felt like a little kid running through the rows of apples. If you have me on insta I posted a video of the place and it was absolutely stunning. I honestly did not want to come back to reality, yeah I wanted to stay there eating apple fritters and drinking cider for the rest of my life but…..I’m currently in class thinking of all my responsibilities. I wish that I’d be dong more falltivities but I’ve been stuck indoors but here’s my suggestion, if you ever feel swamped with work take a moment to just detach. Go somewhere, escape for a moment and you don’t even have to go far it could honestly be a coffee shop. Breath and do something different, do something you love. This is how I seek therapy and how I stay sane during my school year! Here are a couple of photos of my fall adventure and I hope y’all have an amazing week!

Thank you for tuning in!
